Frontend Developer
GPE (Gestão Presente na Escola) project, which serves more than 800 cities, as part of the MEC's Gestão Presente initiative from the Ministry of Education of Brazil.
Main activities:
• Developed the School Process Management System using Clean Architecture and MVC Architecture concepts with React.js and Next.js.
• Maintained the NEEDS Design System, based on DSGov, using Storybook, React, and ChakraUI.
• Integrated backend APIs using an Adapter layer with Axios, React Query, and Docker.
• Built an authentication and user validation system using JWT tokens.
• Developed a Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system for user permission management.
• Created the School Calendar module, inspired by Google Calendar.
• Built the Curriculum Matrix module with a multi-step form and auto-save functionality.
• Developed the Timetable module with drag-and-drop behavior, similar to Kanban software.
• Implemented the Permission Management module based on user access profiles.
• Built the User Management module for school director selection.
• Developed the Attendance module to manage classes, teachers, and students.
Key achievements:
• Promoted a testing culture in the frontend, implementing unit and end-to-end tests using Jest and React Testing Library.

PNLD Formação project, as part of a Ministry of Education of Brazil's initiative for teachers formation.
Main activities:
• Developed the PNLD Formação System using S.O.L.I.D principles and Clean Code practices with React.js and Next.js.
• Maintained the NEEDS Design System, based on DSGov, using Storybook, React, and ChakraUI.
• Integrated backend APIs using an Adapter layer with Axios, React Query, and Docker.
• Built the Learning Path and Course Evaluation module, inspired by GitHub’s code review workflow.
• Developed the Learning Path, Course, and Module Creation modules.
• Built a Rich Text Editor similar to Word and Google Docs, integrated with the NEEDS Design System, and implemented using the Composition Pattern to modularize available features (bold, italic, text alignment, image insertion, etc.).
• Developed a Drag and Drop component using the React Beautiful DnD library.
Key achievements:
• Refactored the Module Creation module, developing reusable, scalable, and maintainable components, while significantly improving page performance.
• Enhanced the performance of the Text Editor component by avoiding unnecessary re-renders and applying the Composition Pattern to improve scalability and maintainability.
